NHS Health Checks

The surgery is pleased to announce that patients will be able to attend for an NHS Health Check from November 2011. These checks are for patients aged 40-74 who are not currently being seen regularly by their Doctor. If you are eligible you will receive a letter inviting you to make an appointment.

Chlamydia Screening

Are you aged between 15 and 24? Have you had a free chlamydia screening test? You can have the test here at the surgery and the service is completely confidential. Just ask for an appointment with a practice nurse.

Whooping cough cases increase

Rachel Clarke is our Nurse Practitioner. She holds minor illness clinics and can deal with a range of conditions, health concerns and is able to prescribe. She holds clinics throughout the week except Wednesday.

Nurses

Our highly qualified nurses deal with a range of conditions and health concerns. Our team of Specialist Practice Nurses deal with long-term medical conditions in our Health Promotion clinics. Practice Nurses in our Treatment Room will carry out practical procedures such as dressing, injections and vaccinations

Mrs Mary Tricker and Mrs Greta Balson and their team of dispensers are here to help with your medication. They can dispense to patients living more than one mile from a pharmacy. Please allow sufficient time for your medication request.
