Patient Participation Group

The role of the Combs Ford Surgery Patient Participation Group (PPG) is to bring together patients, doctors and other members of the Practice Management Team to work in partnership, in order to promote the wellbeing of patients and support the Practice in providing a high quality of service and care.

The PPG is independent of the Practice and is run by the Patient Members. We meet with representatives from the Practice Management Team four times a year at the Surgery, for approximately one hour in the evening.

We are not a forum for complaints, which should be directed to the Practice Management Team, but we do bring forward suggestions for ways to improve the service to patients.

The PPG has 10 Patient Members, and we currently have two vacancies.

For more information e-mail us at Or phone Ian Clark (PPG Chairman) on (01449) 775193

If you would like to be kept informed about what the PPG is doing on your behalf you can join our mailing list.

If you want to send us your views or suggestions for ways to improve the service to patients you can contact us by e-mail at the address above. Or leave your comments at the Surgery, addressed to the Patient Participation Group.
